Canada and Quebec are well positioned in the global advanced materials sector. Indeed, in a recent PRIMA Québec study conducted by Science-Metrix, Canada was shown to rank among the world’s top 10 in terms of patents obtained, with a level of growth in line with the international average. Quebec, on the other hand, ranks second nationally, with a higher level of specialization and a more sustained rate of growth.
